Northlight Theatre

Northlight is a professional, non-profit theatre company founded in 1974— one of the longest-running theatre companies in the Chicago area! Northlight produces five mainstage shows each season with a range of plays from world premieres to intimate musicals to refreshed classics. Northlight works with world class artists (actors, directors, and designers) to tell exceptional stories and promote change of perspective and encourage compassion in our community. We aim to enlighten, electrify AND entertain – in other words, to be “intensely entertaining.”

Northlight is inside the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts. Please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes before curtain. Late seating can’t be guaranteed, depending on the performance. If driving, please park behind the building in the lot or garage, as the front lot belongs to the hotel next door.
