Revered as one of the world’s most innovative and dynamic musicians, Sir John Eliot Gardiner returns to the Harris Theater — one of just two U.S. engagements — to conduct the Monteverdi Choir and English Baroque Soloists in two distinct programs: Bach’s Mass in B minor and Handel’s L’Allegro.

As of August 25, 2022, the Harris Theater no longer requires audience members to wear masks but strongly recommends proper wearing of masks at all times for audiences in the theater including while in line to enter, when in close proximity to others, and throughout the performance.

TAP members should purchase tickets at the Level 5 Box Office. Walk-up service will be available on performance days, only for tickets to that day’s event, beginning one hour prior to the start of the performance.

Getting there:
The Harris Theater for Music and Dance is located at 205 E. Randolph Drive at the north end of Millennium Park in downtown Chicago. When driving, the Millennium Park Garage, located at 5 S. Columbus Dr., offers direct indoor access to the Harris Theater lobbies. Discounted parking validation for Millennium Park Garage is available at the Harris Theater Orchestra level box office. The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) train stations close to the Harris Theater include the Red Line Lake Street station, and the Brown/Green/Orange/Purple/Pink Line trains’ Washington/Wabash station. Visit transitchicago.com for additional CTA routes and details.

If arriving downtown via Metra trains: taxi cabs and CTA buses are all immediately available from Union, Ogilvie, and LaSalle Street stations.
