Peace in Chicago: An Intergenerational Celebration is a festive mash-up of new art music, poetry, and hip hop, bringing together mentors and protégées for a creative evening that celebrates peace, art, and joy.

See the world premiere oratorio Price of Peace by The JuJu Exchange led by Nico Segal & Julian Reid.

Featuring work by Young Chicago Authors’ Kevin Coval, Jalen Kobayashi & National Youth Poet Laureate Patricia Frazier. It also features the Chicago Children’s Choir & Josephine Lee.

Exciting opening acts star Young Chicago Authors poets Loona Dae, Ric Wilson & Victor! backed by The Burns Twins.

Passionate pleas for peace from poets CM Burroughs & Ed Roberson (Poetry Foundation) will complement the premiere of Americans by Scott Johnson & Starburst by Jessie Montgomery.

The Harris Theater for Music and Dance is located at 205 E. Randolph Drive at the north end of Millennium Park in downtown Chicago. When driving, the Millennium Park Garage, located at 5 S. Columbus Dr., offers direct indoor access to the Harris Theater lobbies. Discounted parking validation for Millennium Park Garage is available at the Harris Theater Orchestra level box office. If arriving downtown via Metra trains: taxi cabs and CTA buses are all immediately available from Union, Ogilvie, and LaSalle Street stations.
