Come join the Urban Gateways Teen Council in partnership with the Goodman Youth Arts Council for a Teen Artist Retreat!
Meet and work alongside artistic teens to explore *Identity* with opportunities to showcase art.
The Teen Artist Retreat is from 2:30-6:00PM at Goodman Theatre on Saturday April 15, 2023. It’s FREE!

WHAT TO EXPECT:
We’ll start out with an introduction speaker. Then, participants will be given the choice of 3 different artist-led workshop zones (visual arts, theatre, or literary arts), all focused on a central theme: Identity. Once the workshops wrap, everyone will gather for a gallery + open mic of the art created onsite.
*Teens are invited to attend a performance of The Cherry Orchard at 8PM. $5 tickets with Teen Arts Pass!*
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Teens who are interested in theatre, visual art, literary art, or any other creative medium. Any and all experience levels! Families and friends are invited to attend the gallery + open mic portion of the event at 5:15PM.

Goodman Theatre is centrally located in Chicago’s Loop at 170 North Dearborn Street, in close proximity to I-55, I-90/94, I-290 and Lake Shore Drive, as well as all major CTA rail lines and many bus routes.
