The Chicago Humanities Festival (CHF) is the largest and longest-running urban festival of arts and ideas in the United States. Marking its 30th year in 2019, CHF produces around 170 events each year, including conversations, lectures, and performances, many featuring Nobel Laureates, Pulitzer Prize winners, MacArthur fellows and Oscar, Tony and Grammy winners. Recent notable presenters include Angie Thomas, Ta-Nehisi Coates, Questlove, Lena Waithe, Ai Wei Wei and many more.

Ticketing Instructions
Teen Arts Pass holders can book tickets by phone or at the door of an event. To order by phone, call our box office at (312) 605-8444 and say you are a Teen Arts Pass holder to receive $5 tickets.

Accessibility
CHF strives to eliminate barriers by making the following services available to you:

  • aisle seating,

  • american sign language interpretation,

  • seating close to stage,
